High Valley Ranch Rates & Fees
The High Valley Ranch Domestic Wastewater Improvement District is a taxing authority and has authority to collect fees pursuant to A.R.S. Title 48, et.al. Fees are charged to the property owner and run with the land. Liens may be filed for past due accounts. If you are buying or selling property within the boundaries of the District, it is important to confirm with your title company that all District fees have been reported and collected. At an annual public hearing the Board of Directors adopts a budget of expenses for the coming fiscal year and sets rates to cover those expenses. For more information contact the District office: Diana King - diana@idsadmin.com
Connection Fee: The connection fee is based on a calculation pursuant to the City of Prescott guidelines for the specific requested use.
Hook-Up Fee: Hook-up fees are established as $1,600.00 per application for sewer connection.
Permit Fee: $350.00 per permit
Residential User Fee: Residential user fees are established as $43.80 per quarter per connected residential unit.
Activation/Transfer Fee: $150.00 per account activation/transfer of ownership (sale of property).
Ad Valorem Tax: $27,090.00
Availability Fee: $0.00 annually per non-connected parcel
Duplicate Billing: $7.50 per bill
Copies: $0.25 per page for black and white, $0.60 per page for color copies
Historic Research: $65.00 per hour
Collection Fees:
Past Due Notice: $25.00 per account (bill will be stamped with 'past due')
Lien Notice: $180.00 per account, plus postage (sent prior to a lien)
Second Lien Notice: $35.00 plus postage, per account (if 1st notice returned)
File Lien: $225.00 per account, plus recording fees (includes lien release when account is paid in full)
NSF (Returned Payment Fee): $40.00
Copies: $0.60 per page
Limited Title Search: $400.00 per parcel
Title Search & County Notifications: $20.00 per notification
Ownership Research: $95.00 per parcel (if no notification of ownership transfer)
Bill Reprint or Account History Printout: $1.25 per page
Sewer Service Disconnect: $500.00 plus the actual cost of disconnection/blockage and reconnection
Hand Delivery of Shut-Off Notice: $50.00 plus the cost of security
